Refusing Nawaz Sharif travel is contempt of court – Hashmat Habib

The novel Governance of Imran Khan’s regime to provide a chance to Mian Nawaz Sharif to refuse to leave Pakistan for treatment will dig a well in the way of Govt to fall. Surprisingly the Govt officials confusing the interpretations of the High Court verdict amounts to commission of contempt of Court.

Hashmat Habib President Tehreek-e-Tahafuz-e-Adlia expressed sorrow on causing delay in clearance of Muhammad Nawaz Sharif name from ECL enabling him to avail treatment abroad.

He said first of all NAB raised a stupid objection perhaps at the behest of Govt and thereafter cabinet under the advice of law minister started dilly dally to frustrate the issue.

Hashmat Habib said the bail granted by Lahore High Court contains implied permission to get treatment abroad if there is any technical hurdle such as ECL list that should be removed forthwith.

Any type of additional surety or binding (bond) by Govt is not permissible however, at the time of extension of bail period by Govt such binding or further bail amount can be looked into, the senior lawyer added.
